With the handset in the cradle, do the following to set the amount of time your phone rings before it goes to your mailbox:
Press PROGRAM (Press PAUSE if you do not have a PROGRAM button)
Dial 53
Press ENTER or the AUTO DIAL/STORE
Enter the Forward time in seconds, 08 would be 8 seconds, 12 would be 12 seconds
Press ENTER or the AUTO DIAL/STORE
Press PROGRAM or lift handset and hang up
NOTE: 10 seconds is 3 to 4 rings. Default timer is 15 seconds.
