  HEADSET/HANDSET MODE

This feature allows you to turn your headset on or off by pressing the SP-PHONE button

KX-TDA 50, KX-TDA 100, KX-TDA 200 and KX-TAW 848 analog system

With the handset down and the speakerphone off.

PROGRAM       (Use PAUSE if you do not have a PROGRAM key)

Dial 61, Press ENTER       Select 0 for HANDSET MODE or Select 1 for HEADSET mode

Press  AUTO DIAL/STORE or ENTER        Lift handset and hang up

If you selected the HEADSET mode, press your SP-PHONE button and you will hear dial tone in your headset instead of through the speaker without lifting the handset.

 

KX-TD 308, KX-TD 816, KX-TD 1232, KX-TD 500 and KX-TA 1232 Analog System

With the handset down and the speakerphone off.

Press the PROGRAM key (Use PAUSE if you do not have a PROGRAM key)

Dial 99,  9,  2, STORE

You now are in the HEADSET mode.  Press your SP-PHONE button and you will hear dial tone in your headset instead of through the speaker.

 

KX-TA 308, KX-TA 624, KX-TA 824, KX-TA 824

KX-T308   KX-T 616   KX-T 1232

With the handset down and the speakerphone off.

Move the HANDSET/HEADSET selector switch on the end of the phone near where the line cord plugs into the phone.  Feature only available on KX-T 7030, KX-T 7135, KX-T 7335 and KX-T 7735 display telephones.

You now are in the HEADSET mode.  Press your SP-PHONE button and you will hear dial tone in your headset instead of through the speaker.
