Station Speed Dial - KX-TD System, all phones
To use Station Speed
Dial
1.
Press Intercom, Dial 3 STAR
2.
Dial speed dial code (any number from 0 to 9 on the dial pad)
To Store Station Speed
Dial
1.
Press Intercom 30,
2.
Dial speed dial code (any number from 0 to 9 on the dial pad)
3.
Enter 9 and the number as you would normally dial
4.
Press POUND, Hang Up
SAMPLE: To program 1555 222
1212 in Dial Speed Code 3 you would do the following, press INTERCOM 30, 3, 9,
1 555 222 1212, POUND, Hang Up. To later call this person, press INTERCOM
3 STAR 3 and the number would be called. Remember, you have 10 positions
to program, 0 to 9. STAR means * POUND means #
If you have programmed your
phone to automatically access an outside line when you pick up the handset, you
must press intercom before dialing the station speed dial.
Single-line phones are
always in intercom mode when the handset is picked up so just dial 3*.
Station Speed Dial is a
feature on KX-TD digital systems that allows you to have up to 10 speed dial
numbers stored at your extension. These numbers are not on buttons and
require you to use a code to access each number. The chart below shows
how to enter 555-222-1212 and then dial the number by dialing 3 * 3.
